What is the little frog for?

The chop is the printer’s signature; embodying a printer’s labor, creativity, and overall contribution to the creation of a work whether personal or collaborative.  The chop creates either a small embossment traditionally held in the bottom right corner of the image, or is applied as a blind stamp to the back of an edition. The frog is Melanie’s chop, which has been designed so when stamped in its traditional designation space, the frog can look up at the image.
